About This Course

Course Summary

This session is designed for assurance firms that have already implemented CSQM 1 and are now completing their annual quality management and monitoring activities.

This is not a “how to implement CSQM 1” course. Instead, the session focuses on what existing CSQM 1 systems may need to address or update for the current annual cycle. We will highlight changes, developments and practical considerations that may affect your firm’s quality objectives, quality risks, responses, engagement-level processes and monitoring activities.

The goal is to help firms determine what needs attention this year, what documentation may need to be updated, and what can reasonably be carried forward from the prior year.

This session is particularly helpful for partners, quality management leaders and others responsible for maintaining and annually evaluating an established CSQM 1 system who want practical guidance on completing the 2026 annual cycle efficiently and appropriately.

Already implemented CSQM 1? This session will help you maintain it, update it and complete your 2026 annual requirements — rather than start from scratch.

Credit Information

Is this course eligible for my CPD requirements as a Canadian CPA?

Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.

Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.
