Take the Pain out of Your Capital Campaign. You Can Do It!

New Course Update!
What’s New? The eight lessons have all been updated to discuss running a capital campaign in a virtual world! Plus, there are many more handouts available in each lesson. Traditional wisdom is still included along with these new features!
Are you intimidated by the idea of a capital campaign? Do you have questions about how to run a successful capital campaign, where to find donors, and how to approach them for money? Do you dread your upcoming capital campaign because you’ve heard how disruptive and challenging they can be?
In addition to eight comprehensive video lessons comprising 7.5 hours of instruction, I include with this course the PDF version of the book I co-authored with Joanne Oppelt, How to Run a Successful Capital Campaign.
You will learn essential principles such as how to assess your readiness for a campaign, what kind of campaign materials you will need, how to find the right campaign chair, how to find and solicit donors, whether you need a planning study, and even how to manage life after the campaign.
You will also learn how to approach donors and volunteers in today’s digital world.
I’ll even teach you how to build on the strengths of your campaign for a stronger development program in the future.
To give you a fast start, you’ll receive samples of campaign plans, budgets, and timelines, and much more.

Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.
