You will leave with a new perspective on how you can be in charge of any change that impacts you.

Most of us struggle with change, some more than others. We see change as a subtraction, a loss of something we hold near and dear. Change is especially challenging when we cannot control it, when it comes from some external agent. Change is tough.
But what if you were to “Change Your Perspective on Change“? What if change meant something new, something positive? What if you took charge? Can you identify what is inside you when change occurs, what you can do to impact those pesky external factors, how you can take a deeper look at yourself?
2020 and beyond bring unforeseen change, change beyond the imaginations of most of us. Political, social, medical, and economic upheaval leave many of us confused and feeling shut in. Each of us responds in a different way; some because angry, some hurt, some check out.
This presentation, originally delivered to a professional association, gives an exciting new examination to many of these questions. You will see how to increase your personal power both at home and within any organization, to guide you, to protect yourself, and to move you forward. You will identify your strengths and weaknesses in your journey ahead. And participant questions fine tune these important issues.
In this course, we’ll: Examine your perceptions and see how they vary by situation Allow you to see how you handle change Show you how to shift your focus, reframe events, and build your resilience Help you identify the shield that protects you in any change situation Help you identify the kryptonite that stops you when change approaches Give you tools to “power up” and tap into your personal power Show you how to create change
You will leave with a new perspective on how you can be in charge of any change that impacts you.

Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.
