Empowering Inclusion: Learn to Lead with Equality and Diversity in the Workplace - Be an Inclusive Leader and Create a Positive Workplace

As a leader you are responsible for working with equality and diversity to include all types of people within your team. Creating a globally equitable work environment is about treating people and groups fairly based on their unique characteristics, rather than acting on biases derived from stereotypes.
This course explores the concept of embracing diversity through inclusive leadership and how to foster an environment of equality and diversity, from a global perspective. This course focuses on the development of inclusive leadership skills and strategies, enabling you to effectively manage diversity in the workplace. Through video-based lectures, practical activities and quizzes you will learn how to create an inclusive work environment, promote equal opportunity build a culture of respect for people of different backgrounds, and evaluate key considerations to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for promoting diversity and inclusion in a global workforce (e.g. cultural, religious, social, political, legal, and special needs considerations).
The course investigates different cultural perspectives to develop a culture of respect and understanding, and explores how to effectively deal with challenges related to diversity and inclusion, such as discrimination and prejudice using critical thinking skills and an understanding of unconscious bias.
By the end of the course, you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of inclusive leadership, understand current global diversity and equality trends, and be able to apply the principles of inclusive leadership techniques in your own workplace. You will also have the skills to recognise and address areas of critical thinking and unconscious bias for a more inclusive, equitable workplace.

Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.
