This session is designed for those tasked with the firm’s quality management system. Together, we will identify the yearly updates necessary for the firm's risk assessment and response documentation, ensuring that the annual monitoring and required remediation are complete. The session aims to aid the firm in maintaining its quality management systems and processes, to prevent the documentation from becoming outdated.

In this session we will cover considerations related to:

  • Annual updates to consider for the firm's quality risk assessments and responses
  • Review of annual monitoring requirements to be completed by the firm
  • Documentation of completed engagement inspections including root cause and remediation documentation

Is this course eligible for my CPD requirements as a Canadian CPA?

Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
