Current State Process Mapping is a course that teaches employees how to map current state processes, so they can paint a picture of the ‘as-is’ with the goal to make the process more efficient and better for everyone involved. By understanding current state processes and how to improve them, participants will learn how to identify them for customers and organizational employees, to improve efficiencies and exceed requirements. You will learn how to examine cutting-edge, customer-focused approaches toward current-state process mapping that will help them document and improve key/core processes and services. They will also be able to simplify current state process mapping and identify maps best suited for specific purposes and appropriate audiences. Participants will be empowered with the methodology to document the flow of a process from input to output and to provide a focal point from which to analyze opportunities for organizational improvement. They will be given the chance to practice current state process mapping by using a realistic in-class case study.
