Cyber Security Awareness
OSINT (Open Source intelligence gathering) is a means by which attackers can leverage publicly available information to perform reconnaissance on an organization or individual. The concept of “Open Source” information refers to knowledge that is freely available on the internet whether it is supposed to be or not. This course will teach people how to limit their exposure and reduce what attackers can discover about them and their company. Upon course completion, learners will be exposed to tools and techniques to find their information online and reduce the likelihood that it will be abused. This course is focused on defensive security to help protect individuals and organizations.
Terri Wagner is former founder of Mentor Source, Inc., a Colorado-based business leadership and project management coaching, mentoring, consulting, and training company. She is an experienced instructional designer, coauthor, and technical editor who produced several business leadership, project management, and business analysis textbooks and educational programs. Terri has also taught domestically and internationally to state agencies, governmental entities, corporate clients, and at the graduate level in the university system.

He is an expert in a variety of information security fields, having served in many roles in the IT and security industries over the past fifteen years. As an active member in the information security community Serge has trained over one thousand students at various public/private training events, presents regularly at speaking engagements and his quotes can be read in several industry publications. Serge holds a BS in IT, a MS in Computer Science, has numerous industry certifications and is also a Community Instructor with the SANS Institute.
Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
