What is Big Data? In this course we will try to humanize this thing called Big Data and extract relevant principles of Data Science. We will also reimagine the ADDIE model and hopefully except an invitation to venture into hard curiosity.
As a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) with years of experience working with associations, I am currently the Executive Director of the Institute for Performance and Learning or I4PL. Our purpose is to elevate the performance of the Canadian workforce.
I’m a former Global Training & Development Manager turned Psychotherapist (what a mouthful!) with 16 years’ experience leading learning initiatives across tech, Trust & Safety, and mental health. My early career was all about designing large-scale learning programs, building teams, and helping fast-paced organizations (think silicon-valley-tech-giants-in-crisis mode!) develop psychologically-safe cultures and processes. I’m a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and the American Psychological Association (APA), and professionally registered with the HCPC, IACAT, and BAAT. Fully Garda-vetted, I work in line with BAAT and IACAT’s codes of practice.
Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs.
