About This Course

The key to effective analysis of course is not only knowing what to do but having the right tools to perform the types of work that are going to identify the issues of concern. In this course, we're going to talk about data presentation manipulation and extraction tools and we will review tools that have been around for a period of time then we will look at some of the more recent types of tooling available.

We will talk about continuous and continual monitoring and the types of tools that can be used there. We will also discuss the GTAG which was written by Dave Coderre relative to continuous audit and risk assessment.

We will then discuss a business information system tool that is in common usage which can then be the primary format for the presentation of your risk analysis/analytics.

Intended audience The intended audience for this course are those professionals who want to build their knowledge in the areas of risk and data analytics. These are the two most important areas of knowledge building in the world of industry and government today. The intended audience are those people who are both starting out, but also, for those who work in all areas and have experience but have never been educated in the areas of risk and data analytics and how they can be applied.

The ultimate intent of this series of courses is to have somebody earn a professional certification in analytics which will further their careers both now and in the future. The value of earning recognition through certification in these areas will certainly be a distinct advantage in any job searches and/or advancement opportunities they pursue in the future. These types of skill sets will also have a favorable impact on their ultimate compensation in their future careers.
