About This Course

Disruptive thinking is the process of generating ideas of disruptive potential, challenging existing ways of doing things, or introducing new models or approaches. Disruptive thinking is thinking outside the box, but in a directed way that can lead to innovative business solutions.

Disruptive thinking is for when you need to do something different.

  • You need to develop a new product or service or enter a new market
  • Your business is in decline, and you need a radical new operating model
  • You operate in a saturated market and you want a new approach that will boost sales and increase margin
  • You are a startup and you need ideas to break into the market
  • You need a bold solution to a difficult business problem.

But disruptive thinking is risky, and in this course we will provide a structure for disruptive thinking to reduce that risk and we’ll provide tools to help you come up with disruptive ideas.

If your organisation is facing a serious challenge, you need disruptive thinking.

Credit Information

Is this course eligible for my CPD requirements as a Canadian CPA?

Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.

Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.
