Section 2: A Typical Day Learn to describe things people do every day and on the weekend. Learn some basic grammar – Simple Present tense – 3rd person s. Practice speaking with examples that recap the lessons – talking about things we do day to day and routines.
Section 3: Where Can We Meet? Learn to make arrangements to meet – Where can we meet? When can we meet? – and confirming details. Learn some basic grammar – Adverbs of manner, how you do something. Master some common phrases and expressions about location – on the corner, at the corner, to the corner, across the street, down the hall, down the hallway, down the street. Build vocabulary of words – prepositions of place. Practice speaking with examples that recap the lessons – Let’s …, Would you like to …, How about …, Why don’t we …, Why not … ?
Section 4: What's Happening? Learn to discuss what’s happening right now. Learn some basic grammar – Present Continuous tense. Master some common words and phrases about body language. Build vocabulary of words describing clothes. Practice speaking with examples that recap the lessons – What are they doing? Where are they going? What’s happening?
