A Guide to Selecting and Monitoring Environmental, Social and Governance Metrics.
Welcome to "ESG Performance Measurement: A Guide to Selecting and Monitoring Environmental, Social and Governance Metrics."
In this course, we explore the world of ESG metrics, the range of measures available, how to select appropriate measures for your organization, and how to interpret the results and determine impact.
Measures of environmental, social, and governance performance are becoming increasingly important. Regulators want to see them in annual reports, and organizations now want to prove to their stakeholders and society at large that they are not damaging the environment and the communities they work in. Most organizations want to show that they are reducing their footprint, and many want to actively improve the environments and communities they impact.
ESG metrics are not always easy to measure, and it is often difficult to correlate actions with impact. In this course, I explore environmental, social, and governance performance measurement and how monitoring ESG performance can contribute, in some small way, to saving lives and habitats and improving the state of our planet.
Topics covered include:
Let’s go on an ESG journey. I hope you enjoy the course.

Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.
