The purpose of this course to provide a practical and in-depth introduction to mergers and acquisitions in Canada. The course provides detailed insights into advising boards of directors in the face of a potential take-out transaction and summarizes the critical steps and timing for the three most significant types of M&A deals - reverse take-overs, plans of arrangement and take-over bids.
