He is a Full Time at Professor at Sheridan and an Adjunct Professor at Seneca Colleges where he teaches accounting, taxation and finance related courses. He has his own practice, Orlando Brown CPA, which provides bookkeeping, tax preparation, and payroll services. Orlando is the Chief Financial Officer of Technologically Speaking Inc. (TSI), a company that provides cybersecurity-related consulting, training, and technical services to organizations and individuals, delivering the requisite knowledge and skills to protect the integrity, security, and confidentiality of their digital assets. TSI’s primary target market is new start-up companies.
Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
