Thinking about Consulting? This Course Will Give You Everything You Need to Succeed as a Consultant.

Are you seriously considering becoming a nonprofit-sector consultant and need a plan for getting started correctly? Are you already a consultant, new or well-experienced, with a need to supercharge the marketing, promotion, and selling of your services? Are you ready to grow and evolve as a consultant?
If so, I get it. I, too, am a consultant. I’ve been honing my craft for decades, and I’ve loved every minute of it.
In this course, you will learn options for structuring your consulting practice, how to choose the services you’ll offer and the markets you will serve, how to market your services, and how to sell yourself and your expertise to clients.
For beginners, I’ll talk about the decision you need to make before getting started. I will guide you through the practical stuff you need to know, like what kind of legal structures are available, what state registration is required for fundraising consultants, and the importance of having a business plan.
No doubt you have plenty of experience and expertise in your field to offer your clients. If you’re like every nonprofit consultant I’ve ever met (me included), your challenge is marketing your services. Over the years, I’ve learned to cast my nets widely, and that has made all the difference. I’ll teach you how to get your name out there, how to choose the right clients, and how to sell yourself and your services to those clients. We’ll even talk about writing and signing the contract with the client.
I’ll help you decide if, when, and how to hire staff, engage independent contractors, or form collaborations or partnerships. I’ll talk about reinventing yourself as your practice grows. I’ll even discuss when it’s time to retire or leave consulting if it isn’t working out.
So, if you want to grow as a consultant, sign up for Nonprofit Consulting: Get Started, Get Clients, Grow, and Evolve now!

Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.
