About This Course

This online training course addresses the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Health and Safety information, and harassment training. All workers, employee stakeholders who develop policies, and people who are part of organizations that provide goods and services need to have an understanding of the four portions of this course.

This course includes:

  • Brief history of the AODA and the requirements of public sector organizations
  • Walkthrough of compliance standards
  • Explanations of OHSA and WHMIS and the roles and responsibilities of employers, supervisors, and workers
  • The different types of harassment and required assessments

Is this course eligible for my CPD requirements as a Canadian CPA?

Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
