This course covers general information such as Saskatchewan legislation, prevention measures, and how to recognize & respond to violence & harassment in the workplace.

Saskatchewan has specific Regulations regarding violence & harassment in the workplace, working alone or in isolation, and working at late right retail premises. As well, under the Saskatchewan Employment Act, the definition of ‘occupational health & safety’ includes the promotion & maintenance of a work environment free from harassment. This course deals with general information such as the law, how to recognize warning signs of violence, and how to respond to violence and harassment in the workplace.
