Reimagining Professional Services Post-Pandemic

About This Course

COVID-19 created an unprecedented economic crisis that accountants were called upon to triage and stop continued economic bleeding.

Accountants had to help many business owners and colleagues make difficult business decisions that often went well beyond just finance. This webinar will explore what professional services will be like after the pandemic.

The content is broken into three major areas: People, Technology and Best Practices. You’ll explore leadership qualities including Trust, Purpose, Mindfulness, Nimbleness, Focus, and Diversity. These qualities combined with our core competencies of ethics and objectivity can play critical roles in driving better decision-making and organizational structure and performance. Looking at future technologies impacting professional practice in the rest of this decade, we’ll discuss Artificial Intelligence, 5G and 6G communications, and Augmented Reality. Finally, we’ll explore Best Practices.

We’ll discuss the three phases of the pandemic: Shelter-In-Place, Re-Opening, and Post-Pandemic. We’ll look at learning hubs for organizational learning and finish with some thoughts on how to be better prepared to easily pivot when confronted with the next disruptive event by applying what we’ve learned during the last year.

Credit Information

Is this course eligible for my CPD requirements as a Canadian CPA?

Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.

Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.
