Master the art of strategic writing to lead with impact and build strong, motivated teams. Transform your communication for clarity, influence, and professional success.

As a leader, your writing both represents you and helps you set an example. By using clear and concise writing strategically, you can positively impact not only business outcomes but also teamwork and professional relationships.
The words you use with your team can also impact their engagement and performance. Writing strategically helps you use intentional writing as a management tool—to inspire, coach, direct, and provide actionable feedback.
Intentional, strategic writing can help leaders project and inspire confidence, manage conflict productively, and boost team motivation and engagement. Similarly, leaders can use intentional language to convey respect, set examples for the team, include others, and build community.
This course also highlights the ways in which the choices leaders make in their writing can impact morale, retention, and team wellness. Participants will get strategies for crafting messages that meet the needs of today’s readers while also building trust and conveying respect.

By being adaptable in our writing, we can make intentional communication decisions that benefit our lives and relationships. That’s why High-Value Writing teaches communication principles that extend across all areas of writing—from business writing to academic writing to poetry and prose. In 2018, Erin Lebacqz started High-Value Writing to disrupt the ways we teach, use, and talk about writing. Our workshops, books, videos, and eLearning courses empower you to use practical communication strategies intentionally and independently. We believe strategic writing is one of the most effective ways to meet goals and improve personal and professional relationships. We hope you’ll join our growing community on this path towards a world connected by thoughtful, intentional communication.
Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.
