Basic principles of value investing and how to recognize the right time to enter investments.

Most novice investors begin with flashy headlines and mainstream financial media—but true investment success comes from proven strategies, not noise. This concise yet powerful course introduces you to Value Investing, a low-risk, high-potential approach used by legendary investors like Warren Buffett. Drawing from over 11 years of real-world experience as an active investor and futures trader, the instructor guides you through a systematic process for building long-term wealth the right way.
Designed for beginners and intermediate investors, this course strips away the hype and focuses on practical techniques you can apply immediately. No spreadsheets, no complex math—just actionable insight on how to analyze sectors, pick stocks using fundamentals, and time your investments using market structure and candlestick patterns. You'll also explore how to profit from market corrections and enhance your returns using simple options strategies.

Head of Trader Development at Blahtech
I am a former session musician turned derivatives trader and a Level 4 qualified Investment Advisor. Before my finance career I had the pleasure of working with some of the legends of the music world such as Rod Stewart. I was also a Ministry of Sound live saxophonist for a number of years. Whilst I still enjoy playing alto sax and electric guitar, these days I have a huge passion for trading the markets and teaching others the observations and techniques that I've come by with great difficulty and thousands of hours of trading the markets day in day out over the last 15 years. Today I am a managing director of a fintech startup Blahtech where I create mechanical trading systems with the help of a small elite team of software developers from bulge bracket investment banking companies. I started Market Stalkers courses to maximize my free time while I was mentoring junior traders as a senior futures trader few years ago. More and more people kept finding the videos asking if I could teach them how to trade. Due to my professional trader roles in trading firms, I eventually obtained a Level 4 Investment Advisor qualification (similar to Series 3 and Series 7 in the US), although I no longer trade other people's funds but prefer to invest and trade my own. I am the originator of a concept now widely known as QÂ Points, the missing link to Supply/Demand trading which is explained in my course on institutional Supply/Demand order flow concept. As a managing director of Blahtech, I also run a small prop trading department from London, UK where we have a small number of funded traders who use my systematic methodology to trade and capitalize on various complex financial products.
Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.
