We will set up a new Xero company file and practice using bank feeds to generate financial reports. The course will show how to set up bank feeds, how the data is pulled into the Xero software, and what steps need to be taken to finalize the data as a part of our bookkeeping reports. As we enter data pulled in using bank feeds we will talk about setting up the chart of account and memorizing transactions to further automate the bookkeeping process. We will talk about how to set up bank rules. The course will also cover common problem areas with bank feeds like inventory tracking, fixed assets, owner draws, and unusual transactions.
