Provincial regulators of CPAs in Canada do not require that independent providers of CPD be approved to offer courses. Instead, individual CPAs are responsible for assessing whether a CPD activity meets their requirements, and may take activities from any source provided those requirements are met.
Every course offered on LearnFormula is delivered by a qualified subject matter expert or learning organization, and advances learning objectives that are relevant to the responsibilities or professional competencies of Canadian CPAs. All activities on LearnFormula are quantifiable in terms of hours, and are also verifiable, in that users receive documented evidence of their attendance via a certificate of completion after finishing a course (and this certificate is stored by LearnFormula indefinitely). Nearly 100,000 Canadian CPAs successfully satisfy their CPD requirements via LearnFormula on an annual basis.

The "Intro to ChatGPT for CPAs" certificate program is designed to equip accounting professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively leverage ChatGPT and other generative AI tools in their practice. This comprehensive program covers a range of topics essential for modern CPAs, including complex financial and HR conversations, taxation law research, and ethical leadership in the digital age. Participants will explore how generative AI can enhance their accounting processes, from bookkeeping to advanced financial analysis. Through a series of expertly curated courses, CPAs will gain hands-on experience with ChatGPT, learning how to integrate AI solutions with traditional tools like Excel to optimize their workflows and improve client outcomes. This program not only enhances technical proficiency but also fosters a forward-thinking mindset, preparing accountants to lead in an increasingly digital landscape.
Most providers issue you a stack of 9 separate PDFs. We issue one consolidated certificate that lists every topic, hours per topic, and totals — exactly what your professional body needs to file. Per-course certificates are still available if you prefer.
