Biography
I am a seasoned financial professional, general manager, and CPA with an MBA from Harvard Business School, and nearly 18 years in mid to executive management directing start-up businesses and turning underperforming organizations into successful and profitable enterprises. Throughout my career, I have been highly skilled at identifying operational deficiencies and implementing procedures and initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity. I also have a strong background in consulting for multi-national publicly traded companies. As a manager, I have always been able to empower my employees to achieve a high level of performance.
In my most recent position, as Vice President General Manager and Partner of The Cheese Steak Shop, I purchased a bankrupt company and transformed it into a profitable venture within six months. I implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution to streamline operations for timely intelligence and optimal performance and efficiency.
I work closely with cross-functional managers to identify business needs and objectives to formulate strategies and allocate resources to increase market share and cash flow. Also, I develop cost-saving initiatives to eliminate redundancies and strengthen control.
